The SPACE Pavilion is a contemporary retail concept developed for The Space at Pavilion Shopping Centre, KwaZulu-Natal. Inspired by the idea of “coastal charm meets nostalgia,” the design combines soft tropical influences, beach-inspired detailing, and contemporary retail aesthetics to create a calm yet elevated shopping experience.
The interior features sculptural display elements, fluid shelving forms, textured finishes, statement lighting, and immersive shopfront displays that enhance customer engagement and visual merchandising. The concept balances modern luxury retail with relaxed coastal influences while continuing The Space’s identity as a platform for local South African designers, artists, and contemporary craftsmanship.
