The SPACE Gateway is a contemporary retail concept developed for The Space, a leading South African luxury fashion retailer known for curated designer fashion and lifestyle brands. Inspired by a “peaceful palm-court disrupted by colour,” the design combines tropical textures, bold graphics, and modern retail elements to create a sophisticated and immersive shopping experience.
The store features flexible visual merchandising displays, interchangeable Instagram walls, terrazzo-inspired finishes, custom shelving, and refreshed fitting rooms designed to enhance customer interaction and brand engagement. The result is a vibrant, fashion-forward retail environment that reflects The Space’s contemporary and trend-driven identity.
